EXPECTATIONS FROM PARENTS/GUARDIANS

1. In relation to God :

  • Be faithful to the responsibility of parent hood entrusted to you.
  • Be a role model to your children.
  • Demonstrate high level of justice, tolerance, respect consistency and forgiveness in dealing with your children's misdeeds.

2. In relation to school :

  • Use E-care app to convey the message & send leave application.
  • Plan foreign trips during vacation, not during working days.
  • Leave for more than three consecutive days not to be availed. If sick, medical certificate is required.
  • Unit test will not be conducted again in case of absence.
  • Be familiar with the School's expectations of pupils and backup those expectations with your children.
  • Check the school diary daily and see that the lessons and homework assigned for the next days are done.
  • Sign messages, progress reports or other similar documents when requested so as not to put your child to any inconvenience.
  • Criticism of the school management or teacher is to be avoided in front of your child because it undermines her/his respect for the teachers and the school.
  • Exercise your right as a parent and bring to the notice of the Principal, concerns and suggestions to make school a happy place and safe environment for your child. Confidentiality will be respected.
  • Be available when contacted to discuss aspects of your child's behaviour/progress at school.
  • Offer support to school activities, and be present to support and motivate your child on sport day/parents day & whenever invited.
  • Support the work of the school particularly by enforcing regularity and discipline and by evincing interest in your child's progress and by extending the fullest cooperation to participation in school activities.
  • Inculcate respect for personal property and the environment in your children.
  • Do not encourage your child to take leave from the school to attend parties or outings.
  • Birthday celebration in the school is not permitted.
  • Ensure that your child is not absent on the first and last day of the school term without prior permission and that any leave taken from the school is duly sanctioned.
  • Ensure that you do not see your children or meet their teachers during school hours without the prior permission of the principal

SPECIAL NOTE:

  • For the security reasons. Parents are requested to see that in case your ward needs leave, the application should reach the school at least a day in advance and for unforeseen reasons it should reach on the same day.
  • In case your child is going to be absent for Assessment test/terminal examination you are required to submit an application personally the day before the test and get it sanctioned by the principal/ vice principal. Exemption will be given only in the case of illness or some emergency. In case of illness, a medical certificate must accompany the application.
  • Late comers should get the permission of the Principal before they enter the class
  • CD and electronic devices of any type is not allowed without the explicit permission of the Class teacher/Principal.
  • Students are not allowed to miss the exam of minor papers as they are equally important for the promotion to the next class. Parents have to get the leave sanctioned personally during assessment test/exam days.
  • Playing in classrooms and in corridors is strictly prohibited
  • Parents or Guardians of students are bound to make good any damage caused to school property.
  • The school will take all possible care and precaution to safeguard the children when they are in the school campus. However, it will not be held responsible for any mishap during their stay in the school.
  • Parents are encouraged to have their children undergo medical examination regularly for general well-being, specially dental, eye and ear care.
  • A student returning to school after suffering from any infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctor's certificate to the effect that the child is fit to rejoin.
