Description: Assarpur, July 3, 2025: Our Lady of Fatima Convent School, Assarpur, celebrated Van Mahotsav with immense enthusiasm and a strong message of environmental conservation. The celebration aimed to spread awareness about the importance of trees and the need for a greener planet. The event was honoured by the gracious presence of Mr. Harinderpal Singh Chandumajra, as the Chief Guest. He motivated the students to become guardians of nature and stressed the importance of planting trees for a better future. The celebration began with a prayer service seeking blessings for a greener earth. This was followed by an array of cultural performances including dances, skits, plays, and poem recitations by the students, all centred around the theme of nature, trees, and environmental protection. The highlight of the day was a plantation drive led by the chief guest along with the Manager Rev. Sr. Shanti,Principal Rev. Sr. Linet, teachers, and students. Various saplings were planted in the school premises, symbolizing hope and commitment towards nature. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and a pledge by all to protect and nurture nature every day.
